To become a leading, independent, and ethical source of Rare Earth Elements (REE’s) that contribute to the global transition towards a low carbon sustainable future. This vision is fundamentally based on the company’s commitment to environmental responsibility and sustainability.

Sheerartar Minerals aims to achieve this by assembling an exceptional portfolio of high quality rare earths assets. The company’ current REE projects (Garies) are strategically located and at different stages of development.

The company also has other REE projects under evaluation. This diverse portfolio is key to unlocking shareholder value, as it provides flexibility and resilience in the face of changing market conditions.

The company recognises the potential of African and specifically Southern African mineral resources as a major contributor to increased economic growth and development in the region.

Management


The Management teams’ background brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to Sheerartar Minerals, positioning the company well for success in the REE industry. Their global perspective, African experience, diverse commodity expertise, regulatory compliance and project development acumen positions Sheerartar well in the mining industry, driving forward the company’s growth and its mission to achieve sustainable resource development.

Jacob Deysel, Sheerartar’s Managing Director has extensive executive, mining, and project development experience, having held senior executive and board positions in the mining industry across numerous commodities in Africa, South America, Europe and Australia.

Ian Egan, Sheerartar’s Chair, has extensive mining, marketing, financial and project development experience in many countries, particularly in Africa. He has held the positions of Group General Manager BHP Titanium Minerals and General Manager Nonferrous Metals at BHP. He has also held board positions including with Kenmare Resources, Golconda Gold, Ok Tedi Mining and Orbital Corporation.

Ramun Mahadevey, Country Representative, is an admitted attorney who has been engaged in executive positions in Engen Petroleum, a subsidiary of Petronas and Impala Platinum. He has extensive experience in the corporate environment and in mining that extends well beyond twenty-five years.

Debbie Ntombela, Legal and Country Advisor has in-depth knowledge of the African mining sector, specifically with regards to regulatory compliance. Her knowledge has been gained over many years of working at and with the South African Department of Mineral Resources and with African and Global/International mining companies.

Anton Salim, Community Liaison Officer, has extensive experience in both heavy minerals and smelting processes. He has been engaged to assist with stakeholder engagement for the Garies REE project specifically.
